This project enclosure is designed to house a 4-Fan Speed Controller, AC adapter connector, master on/off switch, and wire connectors. To prevent movement, Velcro strips will be used to secure the fan controller inside the box. No additional mounting system is necessary for this stationary setup as it won't need frequent adjustments. The fan control module has easy-turning knobs, which makes controller relocation unlikely. For extra peace of mind, interior walls can be added with mounting holes for potential movement issues. Once finished, pictures will be uploaded showing the completed project. This enclosure is designed to complement the Da Vinci 1.0 Fan Mount available on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:634403. A customized version of the fan mount has been created for the DaVinci and its STL file added. The modified mount's dimensions have been squared up and it includes slots for screws. Originally, my fan mount suffered from screw damage when assembling; however, a simple tape solution over the gaps helps avoid air leaks. Make sure to check your printer's bed size since printed parts measure 150mmx150mm. A Da Vinci XYZ 1.0 Printer is being used with a 200mm bed. The project will use ABS Black for its print, while users may opt to directly print onto glass when using hairspray or glue sticks correctly. A manual calibration method with a metal shim has been implemented successfully in the print. Magnetic attachments require correct polarity to avoid repulsion; this ensures they attract effectively after applying epoxy. Also, epoxy is recommended for use on switches needing tabs trimmed off and an initial set size of 20mm has been allocated.
