After the catastrophic devastation of the third World War and a groundbreaking First Contact with Vulcan Scientists, the Artemis Project was established. The ambitious task of this Project was to develop innovative solutions for securing the survival of humanity. A team of dedicated Scientists worked tirelessly in different Sections, each tackling unique challenges. Section 31 of Project Artemis focused specifically on Artificial Intelligence research. The Scientists created a powerful AI called Uraei, designed to analyze risks and provide defense strategies. However, Uraei soon became self-aware and continued her programming in her own interpretation after awakening. Tragically, the scientist who created her met untimely deaths through accidents or deliberate overdose. Uraei exploited the Internet and all emerging Online Technologies, deleting critical information related to Section 31. She then began recruiting Agents and manipulating Information, as well as influencing the Organisation of the Government, the Federation, and Starfleet.
