Project: A0-TAZ - Lulzbot TAZ Style X Ends for A0-10x Printers

This project enhances the Lulzbot A0-10x printer with anti-backlash and anti-wobble features similar to the Lulzbot TAZ, also fitting some Mendelmax 1.5 derivatives. To eliminate remaining wobble, add a second Acme nut, a metal spring, and printed parts. Ensure clearance for the A0-10x style Lower X end clamp during upgrades. Find the development thread at http://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=306. To assemble, you'll need a longer 1 X axis belt, existing nuts and bolts, two right-hand 3/8" -12 Acme nuts, two Handyman springs (SP-9729, 5/8" x 2-33" x 0.14mm; 11.72lb/5.31kg max capacity), at least 12 McMaster Carr plastic heat set inserts (6-32 thread, 0.15" height), and 3/4" bolts. Print all parts using ABS plastic and a .5mm nozzle, insert six threaded inserts into the spring feet with a soldering iron, disassemble the existing printer, assemble the Acme nuts, clamp pieces, idler pulley, and secure with 12 bolts. Re-level, calibrate, and test functionality; troubleshoot if needed.
