Project 399 Mounts
thingiverse
I designed a rear XT60 plug mount option, this is the initial attempt and I'm unsure if it will work out or need some adjustments. You can also attach your antenna on the back for maximum transmission, intended for long-range communication along the axis. It has a tilt but I'd be lost as to what setting to use. The VTX mount raises the vtx above the power leads to utilize the available space; it hooks up to the two mid posts in the rear and attaches to the frame. I will attempt to update it as it's a bit snug, but can widen it if needed. The RX holder fits onto the mid front post, holding the Immortal T securely in place; it has a curve on the bottom that sits perfectly on my cap. The massive 50V 1000UF capacitor I used was an accidental purchase, so I'm just using them up. Unfortunately, the Immortal T hits the ground but will regain its original straight characteristics upon refinement. This is a trial version and could potentially damage if you skid or land on hard surfaces; it's also a first draft. I need to add more material to capture more of the T handle for secure attachment. As a tinkerer with no formal training, use these designs as they are functional for me but not visually appealing if aesthetics are your priority. My prints may appear subpar due to my inexperience and inability to get my printer functioning properly. Added a one-piece SMA and GPS mounting plate; V3 is now uploaded. The SMA holder was initially too close, so I moved the post holes forward to provide an extra 5mm of clearance. This should be sufficient; let me know if further modifications are required. Unfortunately, I lost my 399 at our local river, so I don't have a frame to verify the design against.
