This generic home draws heavily from a typical Skyrim dwelling, its design reflecting the harsh environment and rugged terrain of the frozen wilderness that surrounds it. The exterior walls are made of sturdy stone, with wooden accents and metal fastenings that have weathered to a dull grey from years of exposure to the elements. A small wooden door, adorned with intricate carvings of snowflakes and pinecones, swings open onto a short entryway lined with cobwebs and the faint scent of dampness. Inside, the space is divided into several rooms, each one showcasing a different aspect of traditional Skyrim living. The main room features a large stone fireplace, where fires are lit to warm the chill from the air on cold winter nights. A wooden table, scarred from countless meals and gatherings, stands at its center, surrounded by benches made from rough-hewn logs. Beyond this central hub, a short corridor leads to various sleeping quarters, each one decorated with personal touches that reflect the individual who sleeps there. One room contains a collection of dusty scrolls and ancient tomes, while another boasts a beautifully crafted wooden chest adorned with delicate engravings.
