Progress Clocks (from Blades in the Dark)
thingiverse
Progress Clocks are a mechanic from the roleplaying game Blades in the Dark. Here is a video by Sly Flourish about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVrGcXto5RM Yes, the base idea is to draw a circle on an index card. But that's boring, right? So I designed this. If you need to be convinced, here are the features: - durable and reusable - with a single color switch you can easily flip segments to signify failure and success (like from red to green). - it comes with a clip/case to keep things in place, so it's portable! - it looks cool. Seriously, though, if you want maximum versatility, print a base, 6 6ths-pieces with two colors, and a clip. That way, you have a portable version that works to represent clocks with 2, 3 and 6 steps natively, and, by leaving out 1 or two pieces, can also for for 4 and 5 steps. And if you still want to use index cards that's fine, too.
