Programming Clip
thingiverse
I designed a PCB clip for my PSoC programming adapter, envisioning its potential use beyond the specific application. The clip encloses a length of vero board, featuring spring contacts at one end and a connector for the PSoC programmer at the other. It's secured with 2mm nuts and bolts. A high-quality spring from Century Spring Corp was used, sourced from a local hardware store under part number C-566 (3/8 x 3/4 x 0.032). The design files in Cubify Invent format are included for those who want to modify it according to their needs. The vero board is designed to be 5 holes wide (15.8mm) by 32 holes long (83mm). RS Pro spring contacts, part number 261-5187 from RS Electronics, were utilized along with the matching pin receptacle, part number 261-5250 from RS Electronics.
