Programable Time Lapse
thingiverse
This is a programmable time lapse for a Go-Pro where tiles on the track determine how it moves. The system can move forward or backward, rotate the camera, and soon tilt the camera when more time becomes available. It uses Lego train track as the guide and places programming tiles along the way. The tiles are different colors that get read by a color sensor, changing moving mode accordingly. Currently, there are four colors with four different modes. Green, which is also the starting mode, allows for full travel speed with no other movements. Blue begins camera rotation, while yellow slows down the movement to half its original speed. Red brings it to a complete stop. More colors will be added soon. The wheels are held in place by two 20mmxM3 screws and are driven by a 28byj-48 stepper motor. The system can run from a 9V battery but cannot last long without being replaced.
