Here's My 3D Take on Professor Farnsworth from Futurama: Bring Him to Life in Our Space and Time! Hey Everyone, I'd love to see your prints - Post them up for me! Instructions Farnsworth-E-Fin is a fully meshed 3D model with supports generated by Meshmixer. Extra pillars were added on top to make sure he stays standing. Be aware that the software of my printer also added extra support, which makes it tough for me to figure out if it works well across all printers. To print him in a standard 12x12x12cm size, Farnsworth needs to be printed at a 45-degree angle. Unfortunately, I had to cut off part of the neck so he can sit comfortably on the back of his head - that section can be printed separately and attached afterwards. The glasses are detachable for easy handling. For clearer results with transparency, the 'sidewards' model is recommended, though you might need to use generated supports. The 'downwards' design will probably work just fine in any case but using a raft is really advisable because the temples can be super thin. Alternatives: Farnsworth-solid-NoSupport is solid, no support, and not split. Farnsworth-shell-NoSupport doesn't have any supports, is a shell, and isn't split. Farnsworth-SourceFull-Solid is all one piece with no splits - but be aware that when you print separately (glasses and temples), they might need some tweaking so they come out right.
