Disclaimer: Please use this machine responsibly. This is a professional tool designed by a tattoo artists and machine builder. I am not one to gatekeep but I need you to understand that this is not a toy and it should never be used for fun or trying out tattooing on your friends. It is a cheap machine to assemble but needs the same respect as a tattoo machine or pen from a reputable brand. Hello everyone! This simple model allows you to cheaply build a fully functional and professional tattoo machine, optimized for fineline and soft shading. Cartridge use only! Everything you need you can get from aliexpress for some bucks and your local construction/hobby/diy store.Heres a list of things you will need to complete the model. The products on the list are merely an example of products that will work with this model. Please consider buying locally if you can.Exzenric wheel 3.5mm stroke (otherwise 4mm is very good to) (~4$): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dc9T0D9Motor (~2$): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DeGBjFHCartridge grip and bar (I recommend disposables for hygenic reasons but this is cheaper of course)(3-20$): https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005004104014427.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.3.111e43bckGyTTO&algo_pvid=e179b435-1e5b-4c3f-8044-1f19927267a6&algo_exp_id=e179b435-1e5b-4c3f-8044-1f19927267a6-1&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21EUR%218.75%214.73%21%21%219.14%21%21%40211b5db317000007250184368ef12d%2112000028047149395%21sea%21DE%213071800893%21&curPageLogUid=sUkT4B33J8XjTube vise part (8mm inner diameter) (<1$): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DD0H6B1short M4 (thumb screw)optional 2x m2 screws for more stabilty for your motorFrom here on you can choose your form of powersupply: You can glue or zip tie a 9v battery onto the motor casing and wire up the motor. If you are an expirienced artist you should be able to pull some 5rl type of lines at this speed.I recommend buying an rca connector and screwing it into the hole under the motor and wiring it up properly. You can then buy a cheap power supply and rca cable or invest in a battery cartridge grip and basically turn your machine into a tattoo pen. Cartridge grip (~50$): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEuIZp1Rca connectors (~1$): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEpqok7Additonal Info about the motor: This is pretty much the optiomal motor for tattooing but its also the most commonly sized motor for razors and others household items. If you have one around you may try it but usually they are a bit too fast and you will mess up your cistumers/friends skin with it. Assembly (should be straight forward as soon as I have added pictures): Put in the motor in the casing. If it sits there a bit loosily then glue it or put in 2 M2 screws in the provided places.Screw the excentric wheel onto the motor shaft with the provided hex key. Put the 8mm ring into place and hold it with the M4 screw.Insert a cartridge grip and clamp it down gently.Take the needle bar that came with it and cut off the loop at the end. Then insert it into its place using the hex key.Shorten the needle bar further to avoid having your needles hang out too far. Wire up your Power supply The model ist a pretty tight fit for the motor and rca connector so maybe you need to adjust it slightly for your printer aka thin the walls around the motor. The modell is pretty solid so basically all kind of filaments and resins are good. I use resin to print it myself due to the higher precision. If you own a soldering iron you can also solder one of the poles of the motor to the case itself and straight connect it to the rca-connector like I did in the photos attached. (photos to come). If you like this model and youve used it to build a machine you will have saved quite a bit of money and while not actually compromising in quality. Please consider buying from the affiliate links that I have put in the description or tip me.
