Prodos - Bipedal Robot

thingiverse

Prodos, a prototype from Project Biped (www.projectbiped.com), showcases an open source 3D printed walking robot with dynamic balance. Designed to demonstrate limb chain actuation coordination using a microcontroller, Prodos has eight degrees of freedom and performs basic walking actions. However, the servos used are not powerful enough for self-support, necessitating external assistance during walking. Watch Prodos in action at www.projectbiped.com/prototypes/prodos/walking-analysis. Extensive resources, including assembly, programming, and operating instructions, can be found on the Project Biped Prodos website (www.projectbiped.com/prototypes/prodos). More photos of the robot are also available there.
