The Cape Rock Hyrax, scientifically known as Procavia capensis and first described by Peter Pallas in 1766. This small mammal is commonly referred to as the Common Rock Hyrax or Damán de El Cabo. Specimen MZB 82-7087 was collected from the Zoo of Barcelona in Spain. The specimen's skull measures 35.5 millimeters high, 46.8 millimeters wide, and 83.7 millimeters deep.
