Pro-style Picture Hook
thingiverse
I designed this hook for a friend who needs it to hang paintings for display. The hook is specifically made to slide over a vertical metal rod to hold the cable from the back of a picture frame securely in place. The knob should be printed vertically at a layer height of no more than 0.2 mm. Meanwhile, the hook itself will be printed on its side and I'll use thick shells with a layer height of 0.3 mm for this part. Both parts need to be cleaned up with the right size tap & die in order to function properly. Additionally, I plan to coat the inside and back-face of the hook with Plasti-dip for improved grip.
