Pro PCB Vise
pinshape
One PCB vise stands supreme! This robust device can securely hold PCBs up to 100mm wide with a firm grasp. Adjusting the grip is a breeze thanks to one convenient knob, while the other tightens the rig into perfect position. The arms are removable and easy to install, providing added convenience. Their snug fit ensures they stay in place without any hassle. Hardware Requirements: * 5 M5 nuts * 1 M5 threaded rod approximately 180mm long Assembly Instructions: Parts printed with black ABS plastic using a 0.2mm layer height, 2 perimeters, and 20% infill. For optimal results, print PCBViseA.stl and PCBViseB.stl separately to ensure they fit together smoothly. Use a file or knife if necessary to fine-tune the fit. Drill a hole in PCBViseA with a diameter of either 5mm or 5.5mm. Secure one knob to the threaded rod by tightening two nuts against each other and sliding the knob over them, or by gluing the knob, nut, and rod together. The second nut does not require fixation. Attach the remaining two nuts to both sides of PCBViseA and slide it onto PCBViseB. Install the assembly on a base using the threaded rod, with the glued knob positioned on the left side as depicted in most images. Ensure that PCBViseA glides smoothly when turning the knob. Next, install the second knob, which will be used to tighten the grip's position and should be loosened when adjusting the claws. Tips: * If your grip extensions are loose, try using blue tack or glue to secure them. * Add washers under the knobs for a smoother turning experience.
