I didn't have an M5 threaded rod handy, so I used an ANSI 10-24 rod instead - it's almost identical at 4.75mm. This Tinkercad remix is a simple adaptation of the nut-holding parts to fit standard 10-24 nuts from my local hardware store. The fit is very snug, but heating up the nuts makes them press-fit perfectly and they stay firmly in place.
