I recently managed to break the locking bar mechanism on my trusty treadmill, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a brand new one. It's unlikely that anyone else will stumble upon this tutorial, but hey, it's worth a shot anyway. This guide is specifically designed for a Pro-Form 535X Space Saver treadmill, although it might be adaptable to other models as well - or maybe not.
