Pro controller grip for BIG BOYS
thingiverse
After playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons for several hours, my fingers were throbbing, and I'd been searching for a more substantial comfort grip for the Pro Controller because my hands are quite large. However, I couldn't find one that fit, so I decided to tackle the problem myself. I took inspiration from this design on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2798940 To create a larger grip, I simply multiplied several layers in Tinkercad and gradually increased the size of each layer. Then, I smoothed out everything using Meshmixer. These grips haven't been tested yet, but the holes for the screws align perfectly with the original design, and based on comments, they should fit just fine. If the print turns out well, I'll add some photos to share my results. Otherwise, feel free to remix and improve upon my design. UPDATE: The print was a success! It fits snugly and comfortably in my hands. However, when I place the controller on a flat surface, the larger grips cause it to tilt at a steeper angle, which puts pressure on the L2 and R2 buttons. A simple solution would be to use a controller stand to prevent this issue. Use at your own risk. I'm willing to take that risk myself – after all, I've got my fingers crossed!
