Prize Dispenser
myminifactory
This is a fully functional 3D printed prize dispenser that utilizes an Arduino board as its control system. The Arduino drives a servo motor, causing a rotating plate to spin around. This spinning motion enables the plate's circular hole to pick up one marble from the container at a time and then move it to the front of the dispenser, where it falls into a designated slot. The Arduino also controls a coin detector that is made up of a photoresistor. When a coin passes in front of the LED positioned opposite the photoresistor, its shadow triggers the sensor, allowing the Arduino to register the presence of a coin. To create this prize dispenser, you will need an Arduino/Genuino Uno board, a small servo motor, an LED light, a photoresistor, a resistor, a potentiometer, and assorted jumper wires. In addition to these electronic components, you can also use a hot glue gun to assemble the different parts of your project. The longer rectangular piece should be attached to the right-hand side using glue, while the shorter piece is secured to the left-hand side in a similar manner.
