Private Property think twice sign
thingiverse
Haven't made a sign or plaque for a while and came across a similar item on Facebook the other day. Funny enough and actually a good sign so I decided to design a facsimile of it as a humorous and even somewhat meaningful front door hanger. Made using 3 colors of PLA (any brand that prints well). The total thickness is 4 mm and using .2mm per layer, background color (white) runs for 2mm (10 layers) with a color change to black at 2.2mm (layer 11) and then to red for the final layers of the border and the "Private Property" text which starts at 3mm (layer 16). With this information, you can change filament colors at the mentioned layers to reproduce this in any colors you like. The picture of the 2 hands holding the pistols and accompanying text were copied to a .jpg file right from the original MEME and using an online converter turned into a "Scalable Vector Graphic" or .svg file. Using Fusion 360, it was really simple to add the .svg image to a 2mm base extrusion, select the black drawings and text, and extrude them for 1mm. Adding the "Private Property" text near the top was done using Fusion 360's "create text" function and extruded for 2 more millimeters for a total of 4 overall. I believe it came out pretty decent using white for the background, black for the text/graphic in the .svg file and the final text & border layers in red. Have fun with it. If you chose to scale it up in your slicer, I would keep the thickness at 4 millimeters and the layer thickness at .2mm/layer so you can still effect the color changes at layers 11 and 16 respectively for a 3 color print. Just resize the X and Y dimensions, leave Z at 4mm.
