Prismatic Bike Pedal
thingiverse
I decided to design a new pedal after my old one broke and I'm thrilled that I got it right on the third try. This version is printed with nylon for added strength, which I think makes all the difference. I even put it to the test on my bike, standing up on the pedals alone - and it held my weight of 95 kg (around 210 lbs) without any signs of cracking or weakness. At first, you might find it takes some getting used to since this pedal platform is slightly narrower than standard ones, but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it in no time. I included a rendering so you can see what it should look like and a Fusion 360 file if you want to make any changes. ### Important Note: When printing, stand up with the axle insertion point at the bottom (the rounded part). It's way easier to print it this way than having to rely on supports if you're flipping it over.
