The ancient F-type prism of King Assurbanipal bears witness to the region's rich history. Fragments KM12332:2 and KM12332:1 are identical in their design, reflecting the precision and craftsmanship of the time period. A notable relic from the Neo-Assyrian civilization, dating back to 668-631 BCE, this prism is a testament to the cultural heritage of Assyria. Through innovative use of digital photogrammetry as part of the Making Home Abroad / Kotona kulttuurissa research project in 2020-2021, experts were able to meticulously digitize this historical artifact.
