Prism Survey Pole Tip

This is a tip for survey poles. The pole end features a 5/8"-11 fitting while the ground end has a 1/4"-20 attachment point, making it easy to attach a sharpened bolt. This part was printed using ABS material with a .3 nozzle diameter and an infill percentage of 75%. The printing parameters included a layer height of 245 degrees and an upscaled version of the design at 105% to ensure a proper fit given the printer's slight calibration discrepancies. To prepare the 1/4-20 end, a tap must be run through the threads as they can be somewhat fine for a typical 3D printer, although some models may achieve perfect results.
