Land Survey / Setting Out / Dimensional Control prism is secured in a Gimball 360 deg holder system. This setup compares with a full traverse system or wall-mounted base stations within a 3D space. The centre thread on the prism is designed for mounting on a tripod or wall using a 5/8" UNC bolt. The prism fits snugly into its holder, and a small amount of superglue keeps it in place. The non-printed component is the prism itself. Calibration checks confirm that the prism remains constant within the Gimball mount, with a deviation of -18.6 mm. Prisms can be purchased via Ebay, where 10 pieces cost £59 including shipping to the UK.
