Caution: Use of mechanical box is intended for experienced people who know what they do. They're playing with very high currents, and if used haphazardly, can give many problems. We decline any liability for the improper use of this project. Prism is a completely mechanical BF box, small and lightweight, easy to hold in hand and very durable. It hosts a 18650 battery. It was designed to be simple to assemble and maintain. Anyone with some manual dexterity can make it operational in about 20 minutes. The materials needed for construction are: 1. Conductive material foil (brass, copper, steel) - about 1cm wide, 10 cm long, not more than 2mm thick. 2. Magnets (optional) 3. Drip cup 22mm - use a serious one to avoid short circuits or overheating problems with pin fusion. 4. Bottle for BF with silicone tube 5. The drip cup compartment is 22.5mm wide and 12.25mm in diameter. To assemble it, bend the metal sheet into an "L" shape and insert it into the compartment so that when the button is pressed, it touches the pin of the drip cup and activates the box. Make the positive battery connection with a piece of foil attached to the nut of the tank and passed through the compartment. Use glue if needed. Model the + and - foils to perfectly touch the 18650 battery. Insert magnets for extra safety, but they're not necessary since the door fits well. Print the button by reducing the scale if necessary, depending on the printer's accuracy. PRISM is designed for everyone to print and build their own BF box.
