Printtable Concept
thingiverse
People who want to change things can use the Printtable as a starting point. This printer was created, but it has been modified to become the Printtable we see today. Not one single part from the original design remains the same in the published version, but it's now available for those who need help making changes and adjustments. This updated design features two NEMA 17 motors on the Z-axis. The bed comes equipped with four sturdy corner supports that provide stability and peace of mind. One of the key benefits is the ability to easily swap out the included printhead for a Bowden setup, giving users more flexibility in their printing options. The Y-axis can also be set up with independent motors on each support, providing even greater control and precision. The touchscreen interface can be mounted directly in the base, making it easy to access and use. Plus, thanks to some clever design choices, there's no need for any acrylic parts. Unfortunately, this initial Printtable prototype didn't quite live up to expectations, which is why it underwent significant changes to become the reliable and efficient printer we know today as the Printtable.
