PrintShade 150 - Tom Dixon's Etch Shade Inspired Lamp. This bigger version draws from my previous design found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1307682. To get started, gather the following parts: Three cara150_cable.stl files One cara150_pA.stl file One cara150_pB.stl file Twenty cara150.stl files One cubrecable.stl file Post-printing preparations are essential. You'll need: One M3 bolt to secure the wire within the etch120_sopcable2.stl part Wire with a 5-6mm external diameter A light bulb base, possibly requiring a plastic clamp to attach the wire inside Ninety-six white plastic clamps, each 2-2.5 mm wide, for joining faces together One plastic clamp to connect the pendant to the wire One spotted omni-directional bulb, ideally with a point light or concentrated source for optimal results; an halogen bulb, such as the one found at http://www.cherylpettdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/halogen.jpg, is recommended.
