To enhance the mounting plate's functionality, I made it thinner to potentially avoid requiring longer M3 screws. Additionally, I refined the nut catch area where the probe is mounted, ensuring a snug fit for better probe placement. Inspired by various designs, I created my own custom probe mount that can be printed without supports. It features a socket for the top nut on the probe, eliminating the need to hold it during tightening; a larger opening at the top for easy probe access; and a flattened corner for improved bed contact during printing. My design was influenced by Chumsize and Evannguyen's work. Fingers crossed that this mount will resist heat drooping and maintain its position.
