NEW: A refined version of the spool holder is now available, featuring a smooth variation that I've been utilizing for quite some time but neglected to upload previously :( The original step-by-step version doesn't live up to the standards set by its smooth counterpart. This spool holder is designed for use with the Printrite DIY printer, specifically mounting onto screws that hold the vertical rods at the top of the printer. Its universal design makes it compatible with most spools available in the market. Two regular skateboard bearings are used to achieve a friction-free spinning mechanism. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Infill: 20% Notes: This design prints in two separate parts - the mount and the holder. Post-Printing Assembly To assemble the spool holder, attach two bearings to the holder from the top and bottom, ensuring a snug fit is achieved. Next, push the holder onto the mount; slight sanding of the mount may be necessary depending on the fit required. Finally, screw the entire assembly to the printer. Once complete, enjoy your smooth-running spool holder!
