The threaded rod on my Printrbot 1403 vibrates violently when the print head moves rapidly along the z axis while resetting at the start or end of a print job. This component clamps to the x axis smooth rods and features a small recess that holds the top end of the threaded rod in place, limiting its X & Y axis motion.
