The Printrbot Z-Axis Stabilizer Ends, designed by Brook Drumm, minimize wobble in the original Printrbot design. These ends were inspired by TheGrum's "Printrbot Top Joinder." To install, follow these steps: WARNING: Do not use the stabilizer ends as a handle. STEP 1: Print both left and right Z-Axis Stabilizer Ends. STEP 2: Slip the ends onto your 8mm Z-axis smooth rods. STEP 3: Measure the distance between the ends, adding 30mm for rod length inside each end (15mm each side). Cut a rod to fit. STEP 4: Remove the ends from the rods and press them onto the cut rod. STEP 5: Reattach the ends to the Z-axis smooth rods. STEP 6: Enjoy your wobble-free Printrbot. Note: Do not attempt to insert the new rod while it's still inside the ends attached to the rods, as this may damage your print.
