To rectify the issue of losing half an inch of z-axis functionality due to adding insulation and glass to my print bed, I utilized extenders that elevated the threaded rods by approximately one inch, restoring normal z-axis length. This solution may be applicable if the print bed is higher than standard; however, drilling the holes to the desired size is necessary. Utilize m3 bolts or any other available alternatives, provided you have the appropriate drill bit.
