When employing plastic spools approximately 7 centimeters in width, I utilize this shim alongside stock bearings and longer 6-32 screws. This customization is based on a model found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:236490, which can be personalized using the Customizer tool at the same website. The parameters for my specific adaptation are a head distance of 11 centimeters, spacer thickness of 4 millimeters, and no gap. Additionally, I've chosen a head diameter of 5 centimeters.
