This upgrade repurposes 10in rods initially meant for the z-axis, reusing them as x-axis components alongside a metal bed sourced from a makers kit. While bolts and an inductive sensor occupy some space, upgrading to a 150mm x-axis range proves valuable without purchasing pricey materials. To assemble this mod, acquire: 10 x 16mm M3 bolts 5 x 20mm M3 bolts 2 x M3 nuts 1 ft of GT2 timing belt 4 zipties 4 springs from clicky pens Assemble by securing four 20mm M3 bolts for bed leveling, utilizing springs from clicky pens to maintain precise alignment. Use the final bolt for triggering the X end stop; all other steps follow logically as seen in accompanying pictures.
