Address these issues with your 2013 Simple extruder by following these step-by-step instructions. Firstly, install the new bearing pivot by removing the nut and bolt holding the tension on the extruder bearing, as well as the upper right stepper motor/extruder bearing screw. Transfer the parts to the new pivot, reinstalling steps 2 and 1 while checking for free movement. Secondly, insert the middle slat with guide by removing the hot end screws and silver stepper motor screws, placing the new slat in position, and reversing the disassembly instructions. Ensure proper placement of the plastic guide tube for optimal filament guiding. Finally, ensure all components are secure and adjust extruder bearing pivot tension accordingly.
