Upgrade your Printrbot Simple tower with a wooden enclosure LCD kit for an exterior mounted LCD display. The kit replaces the triangular sides and center part of the enclosure with printed components, allowing easy clipping of the LCD to the handle opening on the tower. Use is not affected, and the risk of damage is reduced. Print two copies of "LCD Sides.stl" and one copy of "LCD Clip V2.stl," designed for standard simple bed printing. Assemble the parts using tabs and no support is needed during printing. Secure with two screws from the original assembly. Pass the ribbon cable through the tower's handle hole and clip the LCD in place, ensuring a snug fit. Route the cable away from moving parts to avoid damage and enjoy your new LCD mount setup.
