I designed a leveling platform specifically for my Printrbot Simple using some 1" MDF and T-Nuts, which provided a stable surface to mount an additional post. My Printrbot was then attached to this platform, enabling me to create a spool holder attached to the two existing 8mm posts and the new third post I had installed. To make my setup more accessible, I plan to design a bracket that will allow users who don't have a leveling platform to attach an 8mm rod directly to their Printrbot base.
