Printrbot Simple Metal Z axis filament spool holder

v2.8 is out and working great. 2.8 & 2.7 are the exact same, besides the spool tab holder. I moved it back a bit to accommodate larger spools. Bumat specifically. It still worked fine with my adapters I had made (which i can upload on here if needed); however I wanted to make it easier on anyone else, just incase. I recommend the filament guide, its in the links below. It keeps the filament in line and on the hobbed gear. Print the way it sits with support. I like 30% infill The spool holder will ride on the z rails. This design was inspired by a need. I've been using a holder that mounts on top of the Z rails for the printrbot. That worked great until I installed my matrix precision upgrade. Now the Spool Holder is sitting nearly a foot off the print bed drastically raising the center of gravity. This caused the machine to shake, ALOT. It didn't effect print quality as much as i had thought it would, but i wanted to lower the center of gravity. This was my answer. Current version 2.7 does work REALLY well. Rides great. and spool spins effortlessly. some of my spools will actually rotate backwards when Y is going back. Future changes will mainly be to eliminate wasted plastic and minimize the design. The v2 150mm version will support a single spool and is the recommended version to print. The full v2 has a longer rod, made to print on a 203x203 print bed. It can support 2 smaller spools at one time. v1 will only work on a 203x203x254 printer. V1 is only nice for the filament guide. which i never used anyways.
