This carriage accommodates a brass nut for a metric threaded rod. Due to limited space in the standard bearing block area, this mount is positioned on the top side of the stepper. To make this modification, simply remove the existing bearing block from the lower stepper screws and relocate the two upper spacers where the bearing block was originally situated. This part is installed on the top side, secured through the upper stepper screws. The brass nut is held in place with a single m3 screw and nut.
