This is a control box for linking an Xbox 360 power supply to Printrbot Simple Metal. The original power source cannot deliver sufficient current to connect a heated bed, so Printrbot recommends using an ATX power supply instead. Xbox 360's power supply makes an excellent substitute - robust, quiet, and more attractive than an ATX one. Moreover, there are plenty of discarded Xbox 360 consoles out there due to the infamous "red ring of death" debacle. The best model for this purpose is the earliest one, rated at 203 W. This control box houses the connector as well as a power switch and a power-on LED.
