The Printrbot Simple Metal Spool Holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:322923) necessitated PVC piping for construction. Given my reluctance to venture out and conduct any cutting, I opted to print the rods instead. This approach enabled really nice customized colors for the filament holder. Nonetheless, I had envisioned straight black for mine.
