I'm not happy with the universal filament spool holder from PrintrBot, so I designed a simple block construction using the metal rod (8mm) from the older spool holder to create a more reliable alternative. This custom design matches and draws inspiration from the stock delrin parts of the printrbot, making it strong enough to support a spool of filament with ease. UPDATE: A v2 upgrade has been added, which features an even better fit and a nice fillet that perfectly matches the PrintrBot's sleek aesthetics.
