Not being satisfied with the universal filament spool holder from PrintrBot, I used a simple block construction and the metal rod (8mm) from the older spool holder to create a better alternative. Matching and inspired by the stock delrin parts of the printrbot, this 'thing' is strong enough to support a spool of filament. UPDATE: added a v2 which has better a better fit and a nice fillet matching the PrintrBot's aesthetics. Instructions Printed on ColorFabb Standard Black PLA/PHA material. Printed on 35% infill with honeycomb structure and with 3 horizontal and vertical walls.
