Printrbot Simple Metal RPi Camera Bed Mount
thingiverse
This mount attaches the print bed so that objects remain immobile during timelapse videos. The design assembles effortlessly, necessitating neither hardware nor tools. You decide which arm file to print based on whether you wish to attach the camera to one side of the print bed (the flipped stl is depicted in my photograph). I also printed "tiltArm.stl" at 95% capacity for a secure fit. Here's a video illustrating the resulting timelapse:http://youtu.be/5IWEMwB5P8c There exists a large aperture ahead of the camera to accommodate this $3 wide-angle cell phone lens:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005C3CSXC/. To create this item, I combined three remarkable projects. Raspberry Pi Camera Case / Enclosure http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:92208; Raspberry Pi Camera Case for Printrbot Simple http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:404654 and Printrbot Simple Corner Accessory Mount https://www.youmagine.com/designs/printrbot-simple-corner-accessory-mount. I have since included "arm_reinforced.stl", enhancing the arm section's stability, thereby minimizing camera oscillations on January 22nd, 2015. If the reinforced component necessitates a flip in your slicer software, you may execute it accordingly.
