Printrbot Simple Metal metric leadscrew nut bracket
thingiverse
I needed to mod my Printrbot Simple Metal to use a metric M8 leadscrew, because the threaded delrin bracket for the original imperial leadscrew had started to wear, catch and had a LOT of slack, and with Printrbot defunct it's impossible to get replacement parts. Didn't find a part that met all my needs: fit my nut, mounted on the bottom and be the roughly the same shape and size as the original delrin part. So I grabbed some measurements w calipers and made this. The nut mounts to the part with 3mm self-tapping screws (or alternatively with REALLY long 15mm 2.5m bolts and a nut on the other side, untested and not recommended).
