Made this improved fan shroud for the Simple Metal with a snout that directs and concentrates air closer to the nozzle. Also gave it a longer and more organic shape to better minimize the back pressure. So far it seems to give more predictable prints. Instructions Since it's longer, the fan needs to be mounted on the other side of the mounting holes and I made a spacer piece to account for the thickness of the sheet metal. It's separate so to avoid printing a bridge on the shroud piece. You'll need 4x 20mm M3 screws to secure everything. My kit somehow came with those extras.
