This is my very own filament spool holder - and not a generic one at that! I'm rather fond of how closely its design mirrors that mass-produced holder out there.\nI designed this baby specifically for the PrintrBot (Simple Metal), and you guessed it - it securely holds a length of filament in place. The thing that really sets my creation apart is its adaptability: it accommodates various spool types, positioning them safely at an arm's distance from the 3D printer's main body to avoid any catastrophic collisions when printing out particularly tall objects.\nAnd if you're the tinkering type, rest assured I've also parametrized this design for ease of modification in Onshape.
