Printrbot Simple Metal Feet
thingiverse
I tried chrisantoun14's printer feet but they didn't fit my latest (March 2015) Printrbot Simple Metal's back corners because of rivets, so I decided to make my own. I wanted them smaller and designed to use the clear bumpers I found specifically for that purpose. These new pieces measure 15x15 mm with a flat bottom surface so they can use square 12.5mm rubber bumpers easily accessible at most stores. There are also two designs: one for front and back feet. Honestly, though, the "Front Foot" model works well on all corners - I tried both just for fun. The grooves in each design fit snugly with metal flanges that don't fall off when lifting the printer. Models printed at 0.2mm layer height with Printrbot PLA are shown here. To make these, print two sets of each model - they differ based on whether metal corners meet directly or form a "T".
