50an6xy06r6n's version 7.1 didn't fit all too well on my Simple Metal. It scraped the first print layers off the bed and was about 1.4mm too long towards the Z-probe. As a result, the Ubis hot end was offset from the centre (towards the fans side.) It also hit the printer frame above the X-motor when homing Y and Z. I have modified his design slightly so that my hot end is centred within the shroud. I decreased the profile by approximately 1mm in order to better clear the bed and not scrape it. I increased the clearance where it is near the printer body on homing. v7.1.2 is similar (part printed in blue), but I increased the internal volume by adding height to the portion that surrounds the extruder (to try and reduce back pressure.) Print Results: So far so good, a 3hr print came out extremely clean. And no clearance issues at all. NOTE: I'm not 100% sure if the SW 7.1 file corresponds to the 7.1 .stl file in terms of exact dimensions as something was most likely altered inadvertently. Instructions PLA @ 208 degC I printed it at 25mm/s with a 0.2mm resolution. (1h19) Unsupported. I used rafting as I was having issues with adhesion on the bed due to cold weather.
