Camera mount attachment designed for print bed, part 1108. Currently under development! Once my 1405 prints are complete, I will put this camera mount to the test. It features two size holes that accommodate a webcam perfect for time-lapse recording applications. The mounting holes should fit seamlessly. This design was first conceived in Illustrator and then imported into Autodesk 123d for refinement. V2 is now uploaded, boasting a shorter length and placement closer to the print bed corner. A crucial update! UPDATE: On December 28, 2014, I posted a mirror version of V2 on this site. After observing that adding a fan to my Printrbot Y could potentially obstruct the camera mount, I opted for a solution. Instructions: Unscrew the two screws holding part 1108 in place and swap them out with longer ones. This camera stand can be installed either way, allowing flexibility during setup. Use the mounting holes as indicated. The installation process is straightforward!
