Based on LucasSaugen awesome original Printrbot Simple Spool Holder, some key improvements have been made: A thinner base that extends longer offers more support. The spool arm has been lengthened for wider spools like MG Chemical's PLA. The sides of the spool arm are cutout to enable quicker prints without compromising structural integrity. A wider spool arm cap prevents spools from popping off. Guided slots facilitate the use of cable ties. All edges have been rounded. This spool holder should be compatible with all non-metal (i.e Maker's Edition) Printrbot Simple models. V2 Notes: Made taller to accommodate wider spools, given the Printrbot Simple can print slightly over 100mm. This extra height also addresses a limitation on some spools. Lower zip tie holders prevent the piece from flipping upward and wrapping around the back of the Printrboard are ensured by zipties. A fillet at the end reduces potential overhang errors.
